Apple has come a long way in the past couple of years, with many renditions of the iPhone.

Have they finally hit the nil on the head with their latest announced iPhone?

Apple have followed suit with Samsung and LG with an all glass design this time, a welcome change from the thick bezels (especially at the bottom)

The phone also ships with an A11 bionic processor and supports wireless charging, Apple are releasing a brand new wireless charging matt called … you guessed it, Air Power.

This will also be capable of charging the Apple watch series,3 and air pods, sadly this won’t be available until next year.

The new screen features what apple is calling a super Retina display.

Apple claims offers better than traditional OLED panels. It is 5.8 inches diagonal and a resolution of 2436 x 1125 (458 ppi). The new display means Apple is introducing new features, including tap to wake in addition to raise to wake. It also feature True Tone technology and 3D touch.

The display also supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, which will be great for all that new 4K content coming to iTunes.

II think it is safe to say that all iPhone lovers will be looking forward to getting their hands on this new iPhone.

Further updates will be posted as they are available.
