Looks and Materials

In terms of Its physical appearance, its very appealing, with a brushed steel outer shell, and a rubber matt to keep your device secure, with a matching Matt on the base to keep it from sliding around, The hinges are strong and will stand up to lots of folds and unfolds.

All the necessary cables are provided aprt fro a cable to conect to the external display, which would be nice,.

Interface/ IO

The dock comes with an HDMI port two USB prts a USB C port for connecting to your phone or tablet, a hedphone or speaker jack, SD card slots, micro USB for powering it, although I have had issues with this.

Overall IO is very good on this dock, and provides you with everything you maay need.

Pros/Cons

This dock makes working with dex a breeze an absolute joy

It’s very sturdy and will stand up to being thrownw in a backpack or day bag, with ease, and will suit a avarirty of phones or tablets,

When irt comes to the cons there are few, I have experienced a technical glitch when trying to use the dock powered, so that i can charge my phone ata the same time. where the phone refuses to go into Dex mode, this may just be my phone, I have not had a chance t test with any other phones. {I will update when I have} Solution: Boot into dex without powering the dock in the first place, then plug in the power.

Overall Rating

I think this is a well thought out piece of kit that is essential for anyone planning to use Dex on a regular basis. Paired with a bluetooothkeyboard and mouse, This would prove a formidable system with ts compact format, and could easly replace a laptop.
