Tom Clancy’s The Division was a game I was very much looking forward to.
However upon playing it I was rather disappointed in the quality of the game.
My initial impressions were that it was a poorly executed game that could have been great.
Right from the start I noticed enemies sponging shotgun shells to the chest, and when they did die, they ran forward with arms flailing.
The introduction/tutorial to the game was extremely frustrating as the text was insanely small and difficult to read as parts of it were in grey, This left me unsure as to what to do, and how to do it.
While the HUD is pleasing as an augmented reality style overlay the graphics of the game were not mind blowing, and we know the Xbox one can handle incredible amounts of detail, which the game just did not have.
I felt that there was very little fun to be had all through the initial intro part of the game.
I only started to enjoy myself once I got into a game with some friends at which point there was plenty of banter to be had and things actually seemed to run smoother,
I think the problems I had initially were because of the servers struggling to handle all of the activity since The Division is an always online game, and there are always other players running around your world.
It gets 2.8 stars I may re review when I get further into the game.
Love Always.
