I recently purchased an i Fix it pro tech tool kit.
I have gone through a lot of tools and tool kits in my life, some good, some bad.
But for an IT engineer, this is a great tool kit, all of the tools are ESD safe. and are safe for use with everything from iphones to tablets and servers.
It includes one of nicest screwdriver and bit sets I have ever seen.
a set of pry bars and openers.
a set of heavy duty spudgers.
an anti static bracelet for discharging static from your body, to avoid damaging components with static.
A set of tweezers including a nice pair of angled tweezers.
A suction cup for safely holding phones and tablets while working on them.
A razor sharp tech Stanley blade.
And a precision ruler.
It all comes together in a roll with Velcro fastenings.
All of the items in this kit are top quality and are guaranteed by ifixit.
I give it 4.0 stars.
UPDATE:
I have also purchased the newly released version of this kit.
It includes mostly the same tools but with a few notable changes.
The tech knife has now been replaced with a scalpel like opener tool.
The screwdriver set now attaches to the roll via a magnetic pad that the set sits on and is held in place by.
Some of the spudgers have been substituted for some soft plastic lever picks. ( for holding cases of laptops etc open while working on them.
In some ways the changes they have made are good choices, bad in others depending how regularly an individual uses the mentioned tools, its down to personal preference.
But this does feel like a better quality set.
